Google AdWords Campaign Management…without the Markup.
If you’re thinking about outsourcing your Google AdWords campaign, please be careful! Advertising with Google AdWords is the fastest way online to increase your leads and sales. It’s also the quickest way to lose your shirt!
How THEY (meaning, “the other guys”) Manage Google AdWords Campaigns
Typically, even a “good” AdWords management company will:
- Charge you 10-30% over and above what you spend on AdWords
- Require minimum monthly AdWords expenditures (usually $2,000/month)
- Get visitation from everyone instead of increasing targeted traffic
Meaning, you’d better be prepared to spend more and get less.
And, if those are the “good” ones, imagine what your results might be and how much you’ll lose if you get involved with an AdWords “wanna-be” expert that really doesn’t know what they’re doing!
We’ve come up with the perfect formula for maximizing your return with AdWords while still allowing you to “ramp-up” and allow the campaign to pay for itself as your success grows.
How WE do it:
1) Initial setup and continuous testing of multiple ads with many keyword phrases
Initial setup of any new AdWords campaign is critical to success. We take the needed time to research your competition and apply usually 200 or more highly targeted keyword phrases to a set of rotating Google AdWords. In English, we want to find out which ad we write works the best with each keyword phrase and we’re always testing new ads to get better results.
2) Allow any budget, large or small
We recommend starting a campaign with a budget of at least $20/day for a period of two weeks. That gives us enough time to identify multiple keyword phrases and produce multiple ads. Within the first month, you should be seeing a reasonable return on what you’ve spent so far, if not already making a profit. Then, your daily budget can increase and your sales will too.
3) Work on the web pages (landing pages) too!
Why most AdWords campaign management companies leave this part out is a mystery. Well, no, we know exactly why they leave out landing page testing; because it takes time to do it right. Not only do you need to test multiple ads with AdWords, but changes need to be made to your landing pages (the pages of your site visitors land on after they click on your Google AdWords) too. After all, what good is driving a bunch of traffic to your web site if those visitors don’t take action with you?
At HereNextYear, we have one goal in mind with AdWords campaigns or any other type of pay-per-click advertising. That goal is conversions!
We want more and more of your web site visitors to “convert” to calls on the phone, online applications completed, or purchasers of a product.
You’re going to find surprisingly that not every AdWords management company has this as their main goal.
Google AdWords Management Pricing
Premium services commands and justifies premium pricing. Again, we do not get commission on any of the dollars spent on the ads (a rare offer in this industry) but we do retain rights to the AdWords account.
Essentially, the Google AdWords account is ours but draws from your credit card for the ad payments. If you want to one day begin managing your own AdWords account, we have a buyout price of 3 months worth of whichever program below you are a part of.
Initial Research of Competition and Keywords = $1000 (one-time)
Up to 5 products = $1,000/month
6-10 products = $2,000/month
11-15 products = $2,500/month
16-20 products = $3,000/month
All Campaigns Include the Following: Ad creation, testing, enhancement, daily monitoring, weekly reporting.
Ad Creation = Creating ads that attract Google searchers and qualify them as potential leads before they click
Testing = 3 ads should always be rotating to see which one brings the highest click-through rate while spending the least amount of money per click
Daily Monitoring = We watch your ads every day for sudden changes in position and click through pricing as your competition will always be testing and tweaking their own ads to pull your potential visitors.
Weekly Reporting = We will supply you a Google-produced custom report that displays all of the ads we’re running, the keyword phrases they’re tied to, the dollars spent from your daily budget, and the cost per conversion.
Landing Pages Management and Testing Add-on
Gone are the days of sending visitors from an AdWord to the home page of a Web site. They should be sent directly to specific pages of the Web site that are related to the keywords being searched and the AdWord that is displayed as a result of that search. Getting traffic to your Web site is only half of the equation when considering using Google AdWords for increasing your leads and sales online.
The exact pages of your Web site that visitors “land” on (known as a landing pages) can make or break any potential for converting those prospects to customers. Furthermore, you should have two (2) landing pages rotating for each product so that promotional copy can be continuously tested for the highest potential conversion rate.
We can consult with you so that you can change copy of the pages yourself or we can change content for you and test and tweak on-going. Consulting or management of landing pages is $250 per month for each landing page.
